Common problems
Quick fixes for the problems people meet most often.
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| The chat button doesn't appear on my website | Check the snippet is published (install) and the exact address (including www) is verified (verify). |
| The assistant says it doesn't know something that's on my website | The page may not be linked from your home page or was added after the last read. Select Refresh on Knowledge, or add an FAQ. |
| "The assistant is paused right now" | Your trial or plan limit was reached, or a payment is overdue. Check Billing. Enquiries keep working. |
| I'm not getting enquiry alerts | Confirm the alert address on Enquiries and check spam. Enquiries always appear in the console. |
| A sign-in or invitation link doesn't work | Links work once and expire (sign-in 15 minutes, invitations 7 days). Request a new one. |
| A PDF won't publish | Read the reason on Knowledge. Scanned or password-protected PDFs can't be read yet (PDFs). |
| Someone can't see a page | Their role may not allow it (roles). |
