Terms of Service

These terms cover the use of Mr C specifically, provided by IOVector Pty Ltd. They don’t cover IOVector’s other services, which have their own terms.

Using Mr C

Mr C answers questions using only website content that a business has explicitly approved for it to read. By setting up Mr C for a website, you confirm that you own the content, or have the right to approve it, for indexing and use in this way.

Acceptable use

  • Only add websites and content you’re authorised to approve.
  • Don’t use Mr C to index or distribute illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
  • Don’t attempt to bypass session, origin, or rate limits, or use the service to disrupt other tenants.

Intellectual property

The Mr C software, branding, and underlying technology are owned by IOVector Pty Ltd. Approved website content you provide remains yours. We index and serve it back through the widget solely to answer your visitors’ questions, and claim no ownership over it.

Service availability

Mr C is under active development. We aim for reliable service but don’t guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features, configuration options, or underlying model providers may change as the product develops.

Liability

Mr C generates answers from approved content but, like any AI system, can still be wrong. It’s provided without warranties of any kind, and to the extent permitted by law, IOVector Pty Ltd is not liable for decisions made based on its responses.

Termination

We may suspend or restrict access to Mr C for a website that breaches these terms, including without prior notice where needed to protect the service or other tenants. You may stop using Mr C at any time by removing the installed script. Approved content and configuration can be deleted on request. See our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Mr C’s features change. Material changes will be reflected here with a revised “Last updated” date above.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
