Gas fitting
All our gas work is carried out by plumbers licensed for gasfitting with the Victorian Building Authority, and we issue a compliance certificate for every job that needs one.
Smell gas?
- Turn off appliances and the gas at the meter if it's safe to do so.
- Don't use light switches, phones or anything that could spark in the area.
- Open doors and windows and leave the building.
- Call the gas emergency line on 132 771 (Victoria), then call us for an emergency gas fitter. If anyone is in danger, call 000.

- Gas leak detection, pressure testing and repairs. A leak check is $195.
- Cooktop, oven and wall oven connections. Cooktop installs start from $295.
- Gas heater servicing and carbon monoxide testing for $189 per heater.
- New gas points for BBQs, heaters and outdoor kitchens.
- Gas line upgrades for continuous-flow hot water.
- Disconnecting gas appliances when you go all-electric.
Gas heater safety
Open-flued gas heaters should be serviced at least every two years. Faulty heaters can leak carbon monoxide, which you can't see or smell. Our heater service includes a carbon monoxide spillage test.
Going all-electric?
We can disconnect and cap your gas appliances and replace gas hot water with a heat pump. We'll explain any rebates when we quote.
